Gibsons School of the Arts Classes

The class starts the week with what happens with pouring, then progresses to layering and the introduction of many new materials. Questions are encouraged at every step of the processes demonstrated and much fun is had by all. There are frequent mini-critiques and lots of chances to share your ideas, your puzzlements, and your insights in this somewhat complicated procedure. Friday sees private critiques and encouragement as to what way to go with your work. Finished paintings? Pat says it would be better to have eight starts to keep the thinking going for a long time. The hope is that there will be enough proddings and pourings and ideas floating around to stimulate new experimentation for months to come. We know you'll have fun with this teacher.
